Otoplasty, or “ear pinning” is a cosmetic procedure that involves surgically reshaping the outer ear (or pinna). Typically, it is used to correct ears that are protruding.
The main reason to consider otoplasty is to help people regain confidence in their appearance, which can be done at any age. Both children and adults would benefit from having Otoplasty as it can help anyone who may be self-conscious about the size or shape of their ears, to become more comfortable with their appearance.

The operation for otoplasty usually takes about an hour and it is performed under a local anaesthetic in adults and general anaesthesia in children. The procedure involves making a small cut at the back of your ear in order to access the ear cartilage. This will then be closed with dissolvable sutures.
You will typically be able to go home the same day as your otoplasty procedure. You will need to wear a head bandage for a few days after surgery. You will need to wear a head band after the bandage is removed. Usually, you can return to work after a week, but will need to avoid any contact sports for a few months.
You can rest assured that you will have Dr Khalid Ali's full support throughout your recovery period. He will be able to advise you when you can return to exercise and at what intensity.
Dermal Fillers are a cosmetic treatment that enable you to reduce the visible signs of ageing and to enhance facial features. Dermal fillers might also be used to add definition to certain features of your face, like your cheekbones, or to add fullness to your lips. They are most commonly made of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that stores moisture and is naturally found in your skin.
Fillers are used to treat a range of issues associated with ageing such as thinning skin, folds and wrinkles. The fillers create more volume by replacing fat loss in the affected areas. This can be used in:
Depending on the area being treated and your requirements, you will usually need to come in for a treatment every 6 - 12 months. Mr Ali is fully qualified consultant surgeon who helped many patients enhance their facial appearance.
This cosmetic treatment only takes 20-30 minutes. It should not be painful and an anaesthetic cream can be used to numb your skin.
Once dermal fillers are injected, they attract water molecules and hydrate the surrounding tissue of the skin. In turn, volume is restored to your skin, making it appear plumper, more radiant and smoother. The results should appear within a few days and last between 6 to 12 months.
Mole removal is a minor surgical procedure that is performed for a variety of reasons. It might be performed for cosmetic reasons, or because the mole is in an irritating location, or because the mole may be cancerous.
After cleansing the area that needs to be treated, the area will be numbed with anaesthetic. It will then be removed either with or without stitches, depending on the depth of the mole itself and the cosmetic outcome desired.
Following mole removal, healing time varies from just a few days, to a few weeks. Usually, mole removal leaves some kind of scar, but the size depends on the type of the procedure undertaken. Dr Ali will have a detailed discussion with you before the procedure, to ensure that the results are aligned with your expectations.
